121 countries, from major postal systems like the US, UK, Germany, and Japan down to smaller territories. Coverage depth varies by country depending on what each national postal service publishes — see our About page for details.
Some ZIP codes have a full dedicated profile page — map, local guide, charts, and all. When you search one of those exact codes, GetZips opens that page directly instead of showing it as a card. Every other result still appears as a card, same as always.
There are well over a million postal codes worldwide, and most are rarely searched. We build full profile pages for the ones people actually look up, starting with the most popular. Every code is still searchable and returns its core data instantly, whether or not it has a page yet.
Primarily GeoNames' open postal code database, supplemented with US Census Bureau data for land area. Each result shows an accuracy rating — some coordinates are precise centroids, others are estimated from nearby codes. We show that rating rather than hide it.
